Virtual Issue: Materials Informatics
A new era of materials development
New materials development such as metal alloys or polymers is an essential technology to improve our daily lives, but at the same time this process has required huge investment.
In recent years, however, the discovery of new materials has been accelerating along with the advent of new technologies such as text mining and machine learning. New initiatives are emerging around the world as represented by the Novel Materials Discovery in Europe, the Materials Genome Initiative in the United States, and the Materials Research by Information Integration Initiative in Japan.
PÕ¾ÊÓƵ introduces the recently published work on Materials Informatics in a dedicated virtual issue, with special focus on our Major Reference Work entries. Free access to the virtual issue is available until 13th October, 2019.
