PÕ¾ÊÓƵ is committed to supporting the global response to emerging outbreaks by enabling fast and direct access to the latest available research, evidence, and data. We believe that data should be open, accessible and reusable. We are a signatory to the on sharing research data and findings relevant to the COVID-19 outbreak. 

Eligibility

This offer applies exclusively to:

  • Authors submitting to or published in PÕ¾ÊÓƵ journals
  • Primary biomedical epidemiological data (excluding for example secondary analysis/modelling of existing data, behavioural data, economic data)
  • COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2 (excluding, for example, other coronaviruses)

Authors must publish their data in line with standard Research Data Support terms and conditions, under one of our available licenses. Additional storage costs will be applicable for datasets over 500GB.

What is Research Data Support?

Research Data Support is a curation service for PÕ¾ÊÓƵ authors that helps make research data easy to find, cite and understand. We help researchers to:

  • Organise and share research data in a useful way, advancing discovery for all
  • Get one-to-one support from one of our data curation experts
  • Meet funder or institutional requirements on data sharing.

Using Research Data Support

Using our Research Data Support service is simple, just follow these three steps: 

  1. Fill in a 2-minute enquiry form to see if your dataset (collection of files) is eligible for the service.
  2. Please remove personally identifiable or sensitive data before uploading your dataset (our expert team can advise on this if needed).
  3. Upload (drag and drop) your collection of files to our secure online repository, hosted by figshare and select the COVID-19 option on submission.
