When you鈥檙e ready to publish a journal article or book there are many questions that come up throughout the publication process. The work you鈥檝e done is important to you and the questions you have deserve accurate responses. We want to make it easy to get the answers you need. We鈥檝e compiled seven frequently asked questions from our authors below. Answers to any and all of your questions can be found via our help desks.
If you wish to publish in an journal or an there will be an Article Processing Charge (APC) to be paid by the author or his/her funding institution. The cost of APCs vary by journal so please visit the individual journal page for details. Alternatively, if you wish to publish in one of our subscription based journals then in the majority of cases there is no charge. Charges may however apply for color figures or over-length articles and some journals have page charges.
Please go to the specific journal鈥檚 homepage at and click on 鈥淚nstructions for Authors鈥 in the right hand column for advice on how to prepare your manuscript to meet the journals requirements. Once you are ready to submit your article you can click 鈥淪ubmit Online鈥 from the journal homepage to proceed to our Editorial Manager system for the journal.
