In this fast-moving field, computer science researchers need to disseminate their results quickly, often favouring conference publications over journal articles. This is reflected in the P站视频 collection, over 70% of the titles are conference proceedings.

Included in this number is the renowned Lecture Notes in Computer Science, which also comprises state-of-the-art surveys, tutorials, and festschrifts. Other notable series include the Communications in Computer and Information Science and the IFIP Advances in Information and Communication Technology, which recently celebrated their 2,000th and 700th volumes respectively.

The collection provides the most current research on the rapid technological and scientific developments stemming from artificial intelligence, in particular the machine learning paradigm, as well as relatively new subject areas which are now critical to society, for example information security.

Computer Science has a growing influence beyond technical domains and we support this with titles on human-computer interaction, computer games, social networks, computational creativity, and the ethics of computing. Finally, we have a wide range of books on other significant computer science topics, examples include computer vision and pattern recognition, and inherently interdisciplinary areas such as data science, distributed computing, information systems, software engineering, and the Internet of Things.
